This girl has not been her usual self lately.

Three weeks ago we were up with her crying all night in pain. After a vet visit, we blamed it on a sprained back muscle, but after a few days of pain relievers and no let up, I knew something was wrong. Eric and I ended up waiting a week before taking her to an emergency vet in Charlotte. After many, many tests we finally found out it was an infection, and nothing to do with her back at all!

Lesson learned: go with your gut when you think something is wrong. If we had gotten xrays done earlier, or even taken a trip to the emergency vet Bella may have been feeling better by now!

We've got a few more days of antibiotics left, so here's to hoping my crazy and happy puppy will be back to normal soon!
