This has been one busy month. Eric traveled to LA and Vegas, we lost a dear family member, we saw several of our good friends get married, and we attempted to pack up our apartment and cross off everything from our bucket list before moving to a new city. All this craziness and we barely had time to even think about our engagement.

We are super lucky though to have some great family members and friends put together an engagement cookout for us on July 4 – exactly one month after we got engaged! 

Eric and I have known each other's families for a long time now – he met my family on date #1 :) – but it's always nice to have everyone together. We enjoyed lots of veggie hot dogs, festive ice cream sandwhiches, playing with the cutest baby cousin, and games of kanjam and cornhole. Now I just can't wait until the wedding :)
