In honor of the 30-year run of a Western, NC pig pickin', my friends hosted their own on Jordan Lake this past weekend. It was a perfect fall day to hang out with coworkers and friends, and despite living in the area for the last seven years, I have never made it out to Jordan Lake. Sunset on the lake was absolutely gorgeous, I definitely can't wait to go back!

We enjoyed tons of bbq (both Eastern and vegetarian), a friendly little water balloon competition, Eric made a couple new 4-year-old friends, and Bella had so much fun playing ball she slept for the next fifteen hours.

Thanks to Kris and Aubrey for hosting the event, we are already looking forward to next year!
